Founded in 1988 by Sugita Foods Inc in San Francisco
International Airport, Sanraku restaurant specializes in the world-class
Japanese cuisine. They work religiously with an aim to be the best ambassador
of Japan in the United States. Their dishes are famous among America,
Europeans, and even Asians.
During the early days, slowly people started liking their
trendy Japanese foods so much that the company had to open an improved Sanraku
Four Seasons restaurant next door along with a Sushi bar. Their popularity had
reached to a top-level where the famous San Francisco Examiner/Chronicle
published a two pages vast review in their Restaurant Review, weekend edition, dated
3 October 1993 and given a sizzling rating of 31/2 to Sanraku in all
categories. We got the new success by
enlarging our original Sanraku under the name “Pacific Rim” and moved to International
terminal in 1994.
Leaving dark footprints behind, they expanded their
business with a new Sanraku Express restaurant located at the domestic airport
in 1995. Continuing our success, we opened a new restaurant and Sushi bar at
Sony Metreon Entertainment located adjacent to the Moscone Center in the
springs of 1999.
Sanraku believe in delivering better food with the best
consumer experience without compromising the quality. We strive to deliver the
best Japanese food to our customers with the freshest ingredients. We see our real
success upon noticing Noodle, Tempura, Teriyaki Chicken, and Sushi as a part of
the English language.
